The project
Systematic IT (ITM) is responsible for delivering secure IT services for the business in an effective and cost-efficient manner. These services support our engineers working to deliver products and services to the customer and also our internal shared functions, such as Finance, Legal and People and Culture.
This team is an essential part in being able to deliver those services, keeping compliant, managing service life cycle and providing support to maintain service availability.
The role
Is to be part of a new IT operations team in Bucharest, which today counts 3 people. The focus will be operation and maintenance of Systematic's IT services:
- Event management
- Working to, developing and improving standard operating procedures, including handover to IT operations from other teams
- 2nd line support
The role will require close collaboration with colleagues in Bucharest and Denmark.
Scope:
- Event Management leading to fewer incidents and faster response times
- Faster resolve times for tickets escalated to level 2 from our well-run service desk
- Help to ensure “up to date” maintenance of business critical services
- Employee satisfaction and good retention for Systematic employees
Your main tasks will be (but not limited to):
Detect and react on alerts from the IT services and infrastructure
Perform operations tasks
Monitor and manage 2nd level ticket queues
Improve and maintain monitoring solutions (Microsoft Operations Manager and Prometheus)
Take ownership of new handover or monitoring tasks
Update systems
Improve, optimize, automate operational tasks and processes
Qualifications
The candidate is expected to have formal IT qualifications and have several years practical experience.
