Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage the preparation and review company corporate tax declarations and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms including local income tax and other business related filings;
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures;
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary state taxes;
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process;
- Manage and facilitate fiscal authority’s income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.;
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the finance team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation;
- Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects;
- Prepare and review tax declarations/returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections;
- Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws
- and regulations;
- Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals;
- Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the Group;
- Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management;
- Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and group taxation matters;
- Review current and deferred tax provision;
- Provide internal tax advisory services;
- Ensure a monthly tax audit in order to identify and potential tax risk, and suggest the corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Extensive individual/corporate tax knowledge;
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations;
- Familiarity with local reporting requirements;
- Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements;
- Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices;
- Ability to work well independently and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives;
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel;
- Familiarity with SAP;
- English language written and spoken.
