Job Description
This is a great opportunity to join us as a Tax Manager in our Finance department in Bucharest SSC where you will be responsible for corporate tax project management across the European entire region and responsible for corporate tax matters in Romania. This individual will lead the Mandatory Disclosure Regime (“MDR”) reporting requirements, advise on European cross border transactions, and assist on a variety of ad-hoc tax matters including transfer pricing. Additionally, the individual may support technology efforts to efficiently retrieve data in order to perform tax analytics.
The individual will be supporting the company’s tax professionals in Belgium, Germany, and the Czech Republic and will also work closely with the US tax manager to accomplishment the duties above.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of MDR reporting requirements & analysis
- Lead Romania corporate tax matters and other European jurisdictions, as decided
- Tax project management for European strategic projects
- Transfer pricing projects as needed
- Tax accounting projects as needed
Required Experience
What will make you successful:
- 4 – 7 years of corporate tax department or national public accounting firm, including corporate tax experience in European taxation and expertise in tax accounting
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- Well versed in financial information reporting systems such as SAP as well as tax software packages, specifically OneSource
