Through the Secure Communications and Information Systems Global Business Unit (SIX GBU), Defense ministries over the world rely on Thales for their interoperable and secure information and telecommunications systems. Central to the defense-security continuum, these activities, which include radio communications, networks, cybersecurity etc, respond to the needs of markets in which the use of new digital technologies such as 4G networks, cryptography, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and big data are of the utmost importance.
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Thales Romania & Thales France and requires regular travelling between these locations.
The Software Solutions Engineering Roles design, develop and test software solutions and/or components thanks to their strong knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies.
They participate in issue investigation to deliver high quality products and services.
They also follow, convey and seek to improve related best practices, with a focus on user experience.

- Understanding and defining the business requirements
- Translating the business requirements into the BI Technical solutions
- Defining the technical solution for the BI Product: Datawarehouse, Cube, ETL…
- Autonomous in defining the data model
- Autonomous in querying the various data sources
- Able to express insights with DataViz
- Working in Agile methodology
- Generating data for testing ETL flows and reports
- Know the infrastructure solutions to host the products
- Mastering SQL Queries
- Strong knowledge in PowerBI
- Fluent in using Microsoft SSIS / SSAS
- Scrum
- CI/CD / GitLab
- Cloud knowledge: Already familiar with Azure
- Dev certification
- French
- Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
