TEAM LEADER ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Your responsibilities:

On leadership side:

• You are responsible for the development, coordination and the professional and disciplinary management of Accounts Payable team (4-5 members)

• You make sure that the standardized processes are followed

• You conduct training sessions

• You understand yourself as an interface between the departments in Germany and your team

• You will identify opportunities for improvement in the daily business and existing processes and implement innovations / changes

On operational side:

• You will independently process incoming invoices with order reference, check and record them

• You clarify unreconciled items independently and coordinate closely in this regard

• You constantly maintain and clean up the accounts payable

• You are in close contact (by telephone and email) with suppliers, especially in Germany and Spain

• You create debit notes, check and record credit notes

• You work and communicate across departments and companies

Your profile:

• University degree in economical sciences

• Experience in an Accounting Department on a leadership position

• You enjoy dealing with numbers and have a very good commercial understanding

• You have already worked with an ERP system

• You have basic knowledge of the European Value Added Tax Act or are ready to learn it

• You are a strong communicator, you like to lead and motivate a team

• You have a very good command of written and spoken English, ideally also German and/or Spanish

• Availability to travel within Europe during the development phase, later irregularly
