KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Technical Manager for the Internal Products Team based in Bucharest, you will be leading and managing your development team through implementation of high complexity solutions, improving existing features and code maintainability, delivery of digital products needed to perform sustainability research and back-office operations. A significant focus will be on developing the skillset in the team, in driving stability in delivery but also contributing to the improvement of our digital products.
- Lead the activities of the Software Development sub-team with focus on productivity, quality and performance.
- Report to management on productivity, quality, and system performance;
- Help develop the vision and drive technical excellence in the digital product
- Ensure the development team adheres to established coding standards and embraces efficient and robust engineering practices.
- Partner with Software Architects, Product Managers and Head of Software Development to contribute to the technical direction of the product team.
- Work with product management team to establish product related tasks and schedules.
- Evaluate and improve the skill set of software developers.
- Analyse and bring meaningful input to our Agile development process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading development teams or demonstrated leadership potential.
- Experience with managing the capacity of a team according to product roadmaps.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product development based on .NET framework.
- Experience supporting and maintaining software applications that supports a global user base;
- Experience supporting a live product;
- Ability to analytically evaluate the performance and efficiency of the team, leading to constant improvements.
