Role:
We are looking for Support Engineers to join our client’s customer team. The role is a L1 and L2 support role, regular business hours (CET).
You will be part of the team supporting the client company’s business, working with a globally distributed team. Our client is a market leader in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Denmark in the fields of IT consulting, system integration and solution engineering, focusing on Oracle, Microsoft, and open source technologies.
With over 650 employees working in 14 locations, the company provides support for more than 800 clients in the following strategic business fields: business intelligence, application development, infrastructure engineering, training and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Offer customer support on the phone in French.
- Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online tools and processes.
- Ensuring that client systems are fully operational and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner.
- Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times.
- Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management.
- Escalate problems to L3 where needed.
Required competence, experience and education:
- Practical experience of Windows10, SQL Server, SQLite Browser.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Understanding of software development cycle.
- Excellent written and spoken French.
- Flexibility - responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge in CSV (Computer System Validation).
- Previous experience dealing with support cases or requests via e-mail, telephone and in person.
- Familiarity with the Insurance sector is advantageous.
- Requirement gathering.
- Ability to understand the logic flow of programming through reading C#, T-SQL or Json content.
- Understanding of change and release management.
