Technical Writer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team of developers passionate about new computer technologies. Our project in Bucharest is based on developing security projects and identity solution, converging technologies for public and for private sector.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and maintenance of product documentation to the highest quality standards;
• Manage internal resources to plan and develop innovative approaches for the improvement of our documentation standards, systems, and content;
• Produce end-user documentation based on information gathered from peers, technical specifications and actual system use;
• Accurate editing, proofreading, and formatting of technical documents and other technical literature while adhering to company’s standards and guidelines;
• Actively communicating, working and reviewing documents with Engineering New Product Development Teams and setting delivery expectations;
• Maintain and deliver the required documentation in accordance with the project schedule and in a timely manner.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field;
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Technical Writer;
• Clear understanding of software development life cycle and previous experience in a software development company;
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills;
• Good communication skills and teamwork;
• Ability to assimilate and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner;
• Attention to details;
• Strong research skills.
