Technical Writer proficient in English

In this role you will:

• Write different types of manuals / online content in a clear and concise manner; these could be USER guides, Installation manuals, API guides, Test cases, PS projects documentation, Test Results etc;
• Be technically savvy in the areas of documentation, by being hands-on with the features that is being dealt with;
• Be capable of researching for relevant information independently;
• Be proficient in usage of documentation tools & systems and aware of new technologies in documentation, industry best practices;
• Deliver the work allocated in time and with quality;
• Adopt the right kind of communication mechanism to receive inputs (demos / review comments) from cross functional team;
• Be an excellent team player with good inter personal skills within the team and with cross-functional team members;

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required;
• 5 years or more in a similar position;
• Strong research skills;
• Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally;
• Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills;
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task;
• Must be adaptable to changes;
• Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives;
• Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations;
• Ability to retain and protect confidential material;
• Proficiency in English is a must.
