Tehnical Manager

We are looking for a TEHNICAL MANAGER  for a multinational company which is  developing and producing sophisticated hard material cutting.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Previous experience on the side of cutting tools or cutting machines;
• Technical background in machining, ideally university or similar;
• At least 5 years of work experience, ideally in a similar field;
• High proficiency in the solution of technical challenges for standardized products, but also for special solutions and projects;
• Analytical skills;
• Communication skills;
• English at a level of B2;
• Desire to find solutions for bespoke customer needs;
• Proficiency in Microsoft products, especially Excel;
• Strong leadership skills;
• Experience in leading a diverse team - represent an advantage;
• Readiness to travel.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure that sales engineers and application engineers have detailed knowledge of the product;
• Provide technical training for sales engineers;
• Carry-out market product analysis for new and existing products in market range;
• The preparation of product requirements for the market in collaboration with the product management in abroad;
• Communicate changes to the product program within market organization;
• Translation of technical & marketing information / proof reading (catalogue, special offers, new brochures, etc.);
• Update & coordinate / provide access to database for cutting data (trial reports);
• Observe and monitor competitor activities;
• Participate in exhibitions & fairs.
