Test & Analyze Technician

Miele Tehnica is a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, Germany. We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and other household appliances. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support for the execution of ICT and Functional systems at hardware/software level;
• Implements and monitors the test strategies, test plans, test procedures and test reports;
• Offers technical support and solutions for test equipment’s and defect analysis for each PCBA’s from production;
• Executes tests in accordance with approved plans;
• Builds new test fixtures as per schematics requirements. Performs hardware testing, reviews test results and takes corrective actions as necessary;
• Prepares documentation to enable fabrication of test equipment;
• Supports the Production test systems used in manufacturing; helps troubleshoot system issues in order to improve system up-time and First Pass Yield;
• Works closely with the test development team.

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering, electronics, Industrial automation or mechatronics;
• 2 year experience in electronic manufacturing field is an advantage;
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, C++, CVI;
• National Instruments - Teststand or SPEA – Leonardo knowledge is an advantage;
• Experience in using basic hand soldering equipment and understanding of electronic schematics;
• Good English skills read & write; German language is an advantage;
• Flexibility for travel to Germany;
