Test engineer

For one of our client’s we are looking for a Test Engineer with experience in automotive/ embedded systems;

Skill set:

• Testing in automotive area.
• Test automation using ECU test, vTest Studio, Python, CAPL & CANoe
• Experience in Automotive Software testing with areas of interest/studies in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics or similar.
• Experience with ECU Flash procedures and testing the same
• Having BMW ECU testing experience is added advantage
• 2- 5 years of experience in working with Vector Hils/dSpace HiLs and/or other Hardware-in-the-Loop systems.
• More than 3 years of experience in SW-testing and test set-up.
• Knowledge of English is compulsory, German is an advantage

Job Purpose / Project Overview: E-Powertrain basic SW Validation

Responsibilities:

• Converting specification/use cases to test cases for one or more E-Drive Components & Basic Software modules
• Creating test specification based on Software requirements.
• Follow Agile framework for test framework creation and execution
• Improving the test benches with new ideas in terms of Hardware and Software. (Tooling)
• Integration and maintain the ECUs which includes flashing the latest software and reporting the issues.
• Maintaining the already automated test cases in E-Drive functions.
• Failure analysis and reporting/escalation as needed.
• Attending regular functional and project meetings.
• Ready to take responsibilities in any of the SW-Testing sub-domains.
• Sharing test results and test reports as per ASPICE process
• Create/ Process Bugs using JIRA system.
