Main responsibilities:
- Disciplinary and professional management of the test, and application teams and coordination of resources,
- Technical monitoring of team activities at customer projects as well as internal projects,
- Design, development and procurement of testing fixtures,
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and planning continuous improvements to maintaining customer satisfaction
- Define the technical and strategic orientation of the team, taking into account: market, legislative and customer trends
- Compliance with the department’s financial budget, and ensuring maximum utilization, efficiency and profitability,
- Control of suppliers and project partners,
- Preparation of offers and approval,
- Conducting and attending meetings,
- Preparation presentations and present it like a specialist,
- Cooperation with the international offices of MAHLE and support for implementation of processes and best practices.
Request:
- Diploma with focus in automotive technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar studies
- Several years' professional experience in the testing field
- Experience in the preparation of offers, and project management in an automotive environment
- Several years of management and leadership experience in a comparable position
- Experience in the management and development of teams
- Very good knowledge of hardware validation / test benches
- Very good knowledge of validation standards and their application in the automotive sector
- Fluent knowledge of English and/or German
