Test engineer - team leader

Main responsibilities:

• Disciplinary and professional management of the test, and application teams and coordination of resources,
• Technical monitoring of team activities at customer projects as well as internal projects,
• Design, development and procurement of testing fixtures,
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and planning continuous improvements to maintaining customer satisfaction
• Define the technical and strategic orientation of the team, taking into account: market, legislative and customer trends
• Compliance with the department’s financial budget, and ensuring maximum utilization, efficiency and profitability,
• Control of suppliers and project partners,
• Preparation of offers and approval,
• Conducting and attending meetings,
• Preparation presentations and present it like a specialist,
• Cooperation with the international offices of MAHLE and support for implementation of processes and best practices.

Request:

• Diploma with focus in automotive technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar studies
• Several years' professional experience in the testing field
• Experience in the preparation of offers, and project management in an automotive environment
• Several years of management and leadership experience in a comparable position
• Experience in the management and development of teams
• Very good knowledge of hardware validation / test benches
• Very good knowledge of validation standards and their application in the automotive sector
• Fluent knowledge of English and/or German
