Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Team member in the Product Development Process representing testing function
• Creation and alignment ofvalidation plan for design and product verification throughout the product development from RFQ untill mass production
• Transfer of customer specification into validation plan
• Creation and follow-up of timing plan for design and product validation
• Cost planning and follow-up of validation activities
• Updating of generic validation plan
• Alignment of testing activities with customers and suppliers
• Assure accuracy and stability of the test processes in accordance with Mahle standard requirements
• Mentoring and control of tests in the testing facility
• Support upgrades and improvements of existing test capability
• Evaluation of testing results (target / actual) and definition of activities and countermeasures
• Consultancy with CAD engineering to ensure that design fulfil function
• Documentation of testing results
• Development of testing methods
• Describe and coordinate installation of test benches and equipment's for components / assemblies
• Carry-out root cause analysis and problem solving activities
• Analysis of customer complaints and definition of countermeasures

Key Functional Requirements:

• Technical University degree (Science, Materials, Engineering)
• Up to 3 years of experience with product validation or material analysis
• Very good English or German skills 
• Very good intercultural abilities
• Team player
