Skills / Experience
- At least 5 years of similar experience in electronic, industrial or automotive manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of analogue and digital circuit technology, capable of reading e-CAD drawings and using test or control automation platform like Lab View-TestStand from National Instruments, or similar
- Systematic and holistic way of thinking and working effortlessly in a multinational team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills is important asset with good English being the preferred language and use of German beneficial.
- Knowledge of battery technology, specifically Lithium Ion/ Lithium Iron Phosphate or Polymer, would be beneficial.
- Good time-keeping and capability to work under pressure is important

Job summary
- This role represents inspiring opportunity for an experienced electronics test technician to join the expanding operation of a well-known battery company. We design and manufacture wide portfolio of primary and rechargeable batteries and develop energy storage and traction solutions for Tier 1 international customers. Due to sustained continued expansion we now require a motivated Test Technician, who understands the basics of battery electronic and applications and is able to use that knowledge to solve manufacturing and line testing problems, executing the available automated and manual test environment, checking the battery functional and safety critical parameters. They will be a part of fast-growing young team and will work closely with the manufacturing and quality operatives, and product development team.
Job Description
- The role will suit a candidate with good knowledge of analogue electronics, data acquisition and control techniques and experience of assembly or reworking electronic and electrical devices and systems. Ideally a candidate with a background either industrial or automotive electronics in is sought.
The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team developing, testing and commissioning Battery Management Systems (BMS) in Lithium Ion batteries; their responsibility will be to support the development and adaptation of functional and system tests and carry on the documentation of the results; maintenance and adaptation of the automated test equipment to the new products being prepared for series production.
