Tester software

We're looking for a tester with a genuine passion for technology to join our team in Bucharest.

Skills and competencies required:

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree (gradulated or student)
• Minimum database knowledge (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle Database)
• Very good PC operating knowledge: MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
• Analytical person, organized and attentive to details
• Ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge
• Concern for quality, curiosity, perseverance
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in parallel on several products/projects, independently or with the team
• Good management of multiple tasks and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive attitude, orientation towards problem solving
• Good level of English language.

Nice to have:

• Experience in using error reporting and tracking tools (eg JIRA, Bugzilla, Rational ClearQuest, etc.)
• 1-2 years professional experience in software testing
• Experience in the use and/or knowledge of manual and automatic testing tools
• Minimum knowledge of HTML5, C ++, Java
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and procedures
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Performs successive functional testing, on modules and integration, performance and regression of the versions of products/applications that are delivered by the development team
• Deep understand of the business logic and requirements of the products/applications tested
• Develops testing scenarios for products/ applications that fall under its responsibility
• Identifies, documents and reports errors in compliance with the functional specifications of the tested products/applications
• Collaborates with developers to resolve errors
• Prepares test reports, writes internal documentation
• Participates in product/project meetings and presents the stage of testing activity when requested
• Participate in testing applications at the client, in order to obtain project acceptance
• Meets internal standards for the production of software and technical documentation.
