Position Summary
We are looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist to implement the trade strategy for Category/Sub Category to support long-term growth and profitably increase market share.
A day in the life of...
Category Leadership approach:
- Implements strategies and plans to deliver Category/sub Category growth based on consumer, shopper, customer requirements and competitive landscape.
- Identifies priority channels for the Category/sub Category, understands also the omni-channel landscape and works with Channel Manager to recommend tailored Category Channel plans in line with overall market strategy.
- Develops and proposes the in-store vision of success (Picture of Success* on all in store drivers) of the Category in each Channel, supports its implementation and continuously reviews the effectiveness of in-store actions.
*Picture of success is defined as unified standard for in-store execution around Product/Range, Placement (including here category management), Pricing, Promotion & Communication.
- Contributes to MBS, ICP and MBP processes with key opportunities and possible trade action plans for the Category/sub Category.
Category Activity plan in Trade:
- Following ICP, implements yearly plans for the assigned Category, sub Category by channel (in relation with Channel Manager) and by Customer (in relation with KAM team) and reviews monthly and quarterly their implementation:
- Launches/re-launches: calendar, trade kit
- Distribution vs objectives and vs competitors
- PFME promos: propose volume split/channel, develop artwork and initiate co-packing flow (incl. product master file)
- Attends Forecast per SKUs and other operational meetings (Freshness) together with Category Manager and DSP.
- POSM visuals development and ownership based on championship list for SEM (incl. RTS): from visual development to production, manipulation and delivery to Field Sales team/Customer
- Monitors competitive landscape and identify opportunities for Nestle.
Budget Control:
- Continuously monitors budget spending in line with agreed planning.
What will make you successful
- 3+ years in Trade Marketing
- Previous experience in Sales/Marketing is a plus
- Understanding of selling process
- Understands shopper behavior
- Understands key business functions
- Good Excel knowledge
- English is mandatory
