Transfer Pricing Analyst

As our Transfer Pricing Analyst, you will be accountable for the preparation of all aspects of transfer pricing documentation efforts, including preparing/collating tested party financials, participating in functional interviews with key business leaders, reviewing benchmarking analysis and reports, coordinating with external transfer pricing advisors, etc. You will be the one assisting with company’s operational transfer pricing framework, including analyzing transactional level profitability based on modeling of certain inputs and assumptions.

• Transfer Pricing Compliance
  • Assist with preparing and updating transfer pricing documentation studies as required by local tax regulations.
  • Assist with and prepare portions of Master and Local File as part of Country-by-Country reporting matrix. Assist with and prepare all other locally required transfer pricing disclosures/filings as required by local tax regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving regional cost allocation models, which are the subject of a high level of scrutiny from local tax authorities. Transfer Pricing
• Financial Reporting and Planning
  • Contribute to the review of technology and process improvements to improve transfer pricing monitoring and enforcement.
  • Assist with regional/entity level PBT financials projections and forecasts based on targeted transfer pricing/profitability margins reflecting the functional profile of relevant affiliates.
  • Assist with providing accurate and timely information provided to Garrett financial reporting group.
  • Support Garrett’s global transfer pricing function in identifying and developing transfer pricing planning opportunities, which maximize savings on a defensible basis and support, consult and work closely with Garrett Global Tax Team.
• Transfer Pricing Audits and Controversies:
  • Support the effort to provide requested financial data as part of successfully defending Garrett in tax audits.
  • Assist with modelling and evaluating alternative transfer pricing settlement positions.

To become our new colleague, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting or Economics.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Transfer pricing, Tax or related area such as Controlling or Financial audit. US GAAP accounting strongly desired.
• Experience on SAP (or another ERP system) would be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of accounting theory, experience with US GAAP accounting strongly desired, to ascertain potential tax ramifications of business transactions and associated intercompany transactions
