TV Engineer Second Line

Your day to day:

• Operation 24x7 including on-call duty for the TV platforms
• In case of incident assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of IPTV network.
• Actively influences operational efficiency and operability of the deployed IPTV solutions

• Assure planned work activities, network rollout, software upgrades and parameter changes in IPTV network elements ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities

• Analysis of the pre-corelated Customer complaints
• Understands the Problems in Processes and customer interaction and reduce circles in processes and automize tasks.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Hands-on experience and good knowledge on IPTV / OTT architectures  (TV head end  - IP multicast, coding / decoding, streaming, encryption, Back End platforms, EPG, VOD)
• Familiarized with Cloud technologies, Web Services. Experience working in Storage and Operating systems.
• Strong understanding of network environments. Ability to interpret protocol analyser traces or service probes.
• Foundational knowledge of security best practices and certificates.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• University degree: (eg: Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation and Computers, Informatics etc.);
• English (spoken and written) language;
• 2-3 years of experience in IPTV, IT or Cloud Operations activities will be a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in networking environments will be a plus.
• Cisco /Windows certifications will be a plus
