VAT (SENIOR) ACCOUNTANT

Apply to our great offer! For our client, German company based in Sibiu, we are looking for a VAT (SENIOR) ACCOUNTANT

Your responsibilities:
- Timely preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat and VAT summary messages in several European countries
- Correspondence with our teams in Romania and Germany as well as with external advisers all over Europe
- Ongoing maintenance of our IT systems regarding tax codes and other tax related matters
- Review of VAT Compliance processes, including independent adjustments where necessary
- Playing a significant role in tax related projects
- Assistance to VAT trainings of other departments
Your profile:
- Successfully completed business education
- Sound knowledge of the EU VAT system
- Several years of experience in VAT accounting and/or ERP systems
- Open minded approach to sophisticated IT systems
- Fluency in English required; German skills would be an asset
- Analytical thinking and a careful and timely manner of getting things done, including proper documentation
- Positive attitude and team spirit
