VBA Developer

We are looking for a VBA Developer to join the AUSYTeam in a challenging on-site project based in Bucharest, in the biometrics and cybersecurity field. You will design, develop, customize and maintain software components and support integration and deployment with your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Help the applicants to understand and specify the needs (definition of actors, use cases, process, data, interfaces, mock-up);
• Be a source of solutions proposals;
• Define, develop and configure new Excel applications (using Visual Basic for Applications);
• Use advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas and graphing to streamline business processes;
• Maintain existing Excel applications (evolutions, bugs);
• Facilitate workshops and/or trainings for Users;
• Provide support to users;
• Establish and maintain other information repositories (PowerBI, Confluence, Sharepoint, Teams, etc).;
• Keep up to date documentation for all tools (technical documentation and user guide);
• Ensure that knowledge is shared with the collaboration teams (PMO, PM, ETO, etc);
• Take complete responsibility for solutions delivered including analysis, design, development, testing, and user coordination (respect of planning and versions management).

Requirements

• +3 years experience on a similar position;
• Experience in Software Development;
• Knowledge of VBA Excel;
• Working experience with Jira, Confluence, Teams, and Sharepoint;
• High proficiency in PowerBi, SQL;
• Nice to have: Agile methodology;
• Other appreciated knowledge: C, .NET C#, SQL, HTML, Java, XML, PHP, Visual Studio, SQL Server;

• Good problem solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good level of English is required, French and/or Spanish would be a plus;
• University degree in Computer Science, Programming, Electronics or similar areas.
