Role purpose:
- The VCI Business Technical Specialist helps to support and maximize the effectiveness of the Delivery Product Owner inside GF delivery Hub, supporting the creation of user stories to an adequate level of granularity, assessing options for technical and business feasibility, and ensuring services are aligned with business requirements.
- This role is required for ramp up of each Lifecyle management execution programme, as well as for detailed analysis and workflow optimization during already running initiatives. It also supports E2E delivery services provided by the Hub where required.
- It will provide regular feedback by (ad-hoc)reporting, checking deliverables against user story’s acceptance criteria and provides regular feedback by validating that the product meets the business goals.
- This role is responsible for supporting everyday reporting, facilitation, and communication.

- Work with the Product Owner to clarify goals and business value outcomes
- Work with the Product Owner to define and prioritize the user stories aligned to the capability roadmap
- Ensure user stories are broken down to an adequate level of detail for execution
- Clarify user stories questions with all agile team members
- Support the development and execution of acceptance tests based on acceptance criteria, verifying stories meet acceptance criteria
- Analyze and report lifecycle, product & delivery risks and opportunities
- Facilitate engagement with stakeholders for communications and decision-making
- Continuously update the delivery team in case of business changes

- User story definition and refinement and team backlog management
- Agile development environment and methods, . Scrum, Kanban
- Senior level business and systems analysis in a large digital environment
- Senior level of business data understanding (Technical data presentations for Top Management; Route cause impact & Problem statement analysis for Top Management)
- Baseline knowledge in terms of Data Centre background, Infrastructure Delivery, Lifecycle Management
- Market research, design thinking, and lean start-up methods (MVPs)
- Customer experience design of digital products and services
- Data-driven decision making
- Expertise in supporting team facilitation and tools, . JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, Teams, Excel
- Strong Understanding of DC delivery processes and procedures, as well as supporting systems and architecture
- Strong facilitation and organization skills
- Strong relationship building and communications skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications and collaboration skills, up to executive level
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple balls, and comfortable working under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills
- A strong customer-centric focus, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Good understanding of the business capability / user journey, wider organizational goals, and desired product business outcomes
- Strong understanding of both the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging business and technology trends
