Orange Romania is looking for a colleague to be part of the Enterprise Infrastructure Team. The team’s mission is to ensure the availability of Orange Romania IT enterprise infrastructure for both internal and external customers. This includes physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure layers up to operating systems, containers / clusters / network services, storage and backup systems.

• You are an experienced VMware vCenter system administrator

• You have working knowledge on networking, storage, Linux administration, and physical servers

• You are able to work comfortably in a fast-changing environment with interesting technical challenges

• You are perceived as expert in your area of competence

What you will be doing:

You main focus will be on VMware products administration:

• vCenter Server & vSphere

• vCloud Director

• SRM

• vRealize Automation

• vRealize Orchestrator

You will be responsible for maintaining (operate/plan/design) during entire lifecycle Orange Romania IT infrastructure.

You will participate in on-call schedules.

Your main clients will be: IT Operations and IT DEV teams.

What you need to know

Mandatory:

• VMware vCenter / vSphere good knowledge

• Linux, network, storage, and security concepts

• Scripting (PowerCLI, vRealize Orchestrator)
• Languages: English

Desirable:

• VMware VCP-DCV certification

• VMware vCloud Director, vRealize Automation, SRM knowledge

• Experience in operating HPE physical servers

• Advanced scripting (PowerCLI, vRealize Orchestrator)

• Backup solutions (Commvault, Veeam, etc)
