Wave Engineer SMT

Job Responsibilities

• Creates  and optimizes programs for NPI and transfers;
• Participates as core member of NPI team in all phases of project and new products implementation.
• Prepares and implements process documentation for the wave process;  
• Checks the technical documentation , validate and purchase new frames;
• Maintain the actual frames;
• Creates and maintains the process flow and PFMEA
• Prepares and implements process documentation for the manual insertion process;
• Industrialize the manual insertion process: equipment, work instructions, standardize cell;
• Manages PCBA changes on the production line in accordance with design changes.
• Tracks failures, back downs and prepares root cause analysis reports and propose corrective actions.
• Supports process development and cost improvement activities within the company.

Knowledge and Experiences

Technical University: Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 3 years experience in SMT processes.
Knowledge of SMT wave process, equipment and equipment programming/optimization (preferable: Panasonic systems).
Understanding of electrical circuits schemes.
Basic knowledge of SMT equipment troubleshooting/maintenance.
Basic knowledge of IPC guidelines.
