This a UI/web development role using mobile-first ‘responsive’ technologies for highly interactive responsive websites targeting sports betting players.


The role is based in Timisoara with a combination of remote and office based work, as part of the existing team of developers who in turn collaborate and work directly with the Dublin-based team.


Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Designing, documenting, coding and unit testing of web-based front end requirements in JavaScript, React and other responsive UI languages, to specification and on time.
  • Support System Test and participate in the handover of builds to release management and production teams.
  • Provide accurate timeframes for projects and change requests, to help Project Managers achieve deadlines.
  • Assist in the maintaining, tuning, issue resolution and modification of production applications to keep performance at an optimum level, according to technical and functional specifications.
  • Taking pro-active steps to ensure higher availability and faster performance of web-based solutions.
  • Assist in the definition and implementation of development best practice, environments, and tools.
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies, platforms, and software.


Technical skill set:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ practical working experience in a challenging web development environment.
  • Experience developing large single-page applications in React and/or Angular (latest versions)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of JavaScript, including ES6+
  • Strong knowledge and commercial experience of Web UI single page applications, dynamic HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, responsive web sites
  • Experience of Visual Studio, and Microsoft development technologies, and a good understanding of OO programming
  • Experience of automated unit testing of JavaScript code
  • Experience of source control & working on a shared codebase with other developers on multiple versions of the software, development, test & production code bases simultaneously.
