Workshop manager machining

Ideal candidate

- Mechanical or production engineer
- 5 years’ experience minimum
- Professional, organized, customer oriented, focusing both short-term & long-term
- Operational Excellence culture & experience
- Speak Romanian + French or English
- Not a fireman

Job Overview
Lead the machine & human resources of the machining workshop from the production planning to the machining value delivery toward Effectiveness (quality & customer-service) and Efficiency (amount of resources to be effective). Participate to production continuous improvement projects.

Tasks
- Manage the machine & human resources considering workload, capacity, capability, skills and delivery dates
- Follow-up planning and production programs & checks via foremen
- Manage workshop performance via OEE, OTD, lead-time & corrective actions, quality via controls & traceability
- Resolve production problems via quick or thorough (8D) problem-solving & decision-making
- Supervise routine & preventive maintenance execution with the maintenance team

Projects
- Participate to continuous improvement projects as an expert and team player as a minimum
- Support the routine and preventive maintenance project
